an okay stay
friendly staff easy walk shabby building rinsed glasses
the staff were friendly. the rooms were cleaned every day. the ferry terminal to portsmouth was an easy walk.
the building outside looked shabby. the shower curtain was dirty. i think the drinking glasses in the bathroom were only rinsed.

charming stay
wooden shutters bunk bed own parking
the room had wooden shutters. this made the room very dark at night. there was also a bunk bed, my sons loved it. the hotel provided parking, it was easy to find.
the building looks a bit shabby from outside.

Really good Stay
friendly host good selection comfortable bed
I found the host very friendly and she. Breakfast included a good selection of cereals, toast, croissants, fruits and cereal bars. The location was central and the room was quiet and peaceful. I was happy to find a very comfortable bed in a beautifully clean room. I also appreciated the good shower.
I found a very slight inconvenience, although the building has a lot of history it could benefit from some external maintenance.
